As we did in a previous newsletter with the updates to the mortgage servicing rules, we are providing you with the amended content that will be published in ComplySight at the end of December, effective on January 1, 2018, related to the changes associated with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA). As many of you have shared, this information is helpful when provided in advance in order to help the credit union to prepare and ensure compliance on the effective date.

The HMDA Area of ComplySight had some pretty big changes, which will include new content and the revision of existing content within ComplySight. Most notably is the coverage, the data points that were amended and added, and the types of transactions that are now reportable. There are also lobby disclosure changes and changes to the procedures for delivery of the HMDA disclosure and modified Loan Application Register (LAR)!

Click here for a preview of the HMDA updates! We hope this is helpful!

We’ve had a lot of exciting changes to ComplySight in 2017! File Manager and Complaint Management System were added, and we sure hope you’ve had a chance to utilize these new features, which we were able to provide at no additional cost!

We are able to keep our low pricing and continue to add new functionality with your help! Please continue to help us spread the word about ComplySight and ensure credit unions know they have a cost-effective compliance management system available to them. We are surprised by how many credit unions aren’t aware of ComplySight and end up signing a three year contract that locks them in to a system that costs more than triple the cost of ComplySight.

Are you using ComplySight and loving it? If so, please write us a few lines we can use to promote the product to other credit unions. How has it helped you?

If you are using ComplySight and not loving it, we want to know that too! Why? What can we do differently? How can we help you?

I think I’ve mentioned this in every newsletter to date: we want your feedback!! Can we do everything you want? Maybe not, but your feedback along with that of your peers, help us prioritize what enhancements we tackle next!

Stay tuned for our next newsletter where we talk about some exciting new enhancements to your Export options!!

Happy Holidays to you and your family from all of us here at League InfoSight!
